About

Built by someone who lived this problem

ApplyHound started as a personal tool. A spreadsheet replacement. A way to stop losing track of applications across five browser tabs. It turned into something bigger.

Job searching is genuinely exhausting. Not because finding jobs is hard — there are more listings out there than you could ever apply to. It's exhausting because the process is fragmented, opaque, and designed to work for companies, not candidates.

You visit LinkedIn, then Indeed, then ZipRecruiter, then Glassdoor. You find the same jobs posted on all four. You bookmark a few, apply to some, forget about others. A week later you can't remember which company had the interesting role you wanted to follow up on. Your spreadsheet has 40 rows and none of the statuses are current.

Then the silence starts. Companies take your application and you never hear anything again. You don't know if you were rejected, if the role was filled, or if your application was even seen. The job posting is still live three months later — was it ever real?

We built ApplyHound to fix this. Not just the discovery problem — pulling all the listings into one place — but the entire experience. Your email becomes your tracker. Your inbox gets scanned automatically, and when a confirmation or rejection comes in, your pipeline updates without you lifting a finger.

We're early. There's a lot more to build. But if you're in a job search right now, we'd rather you use it and tell us what's broken than wait until it's perfect.

What we believe

🎯
Candidates deserve transparency
Companies know everything about candidates. Candidates should know how companies actually treat people in the hiring process.
Tools should do the work
A job search tool that requires manual tracking isn't a tool — it's a different kind of spreadsheet. ApplyHound should reduce your workload, not add to it.
🔒
Privacy by design
Your applications, notes, and contacts are yours and only yours. The only data we aggregate is anonymous company-level feedback — to make the product better for everyone.
💸
Honest pricing
Job searching is already expensive — in time, in stress, in opportunity cost. We're not going to charge you $30/month for a tool that should cost $5.
